Carmen D. Morales Homemaker Carmen ""Abuela"" Morales, age 93 of Lakeland, Florida entered peacefully into eternal rest on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 of natural causes at Good Shepherd Hospice listening to her Christian music with her loving family by her side. Carmen was born July 1, 1918 in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico to Tomas and Jacinta Diaz Cruz. Most of all she enjoyed going to church, singing and praising the Lord and spending time with her loved ones. She was married to Domingo Morales for 44 years and predeceased him. Carmen is survived by her children: Gloria (Luis) DeJesus, Carmen (Ruben) Rodriguez, Marie (Noel) Santiago, Javier (Cheryl) Morales and Robert (Lorraine) Morales. She was predeceased by two children, Joseph Morales (Sylvia) and Aleida Horner (Ronnie). She has many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who will miss her greatly. Viewing will be on Thursday April 12, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at Heath Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 13, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Heath Funeral Chapel.
