Butch J. Vinson

Butch J. Vinson, 55 years, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Leesburg, FL, passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2018. His passions in life were his children, Kyle, Chad and Courtney, and he was an avid baseball fan. Butch graduated from Leesburg High School in 1980 and attended the University of Central Florida. Butch is survived by his three children, Kyle, Chad and Courtney; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa Hughes and Jody, and nephew, Alex, and niece, Madison, of Bainbridge, GA; sister-in-law, Tammie Vinson, and nephews, Logan and Griffin, of Tavares, FL; and aunt and uncle, Patsy and Ronnie Ferguson, of Eustis, FL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Willie Christine Chism; his mother, Betty Vinson of Leesburg, FL; and his brother, Christopher Vinson. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 2, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church Sanctuary in Lakeland FL.
