Brian Churchill Everhart

February 13, 1954 — April 4, 2015

Brian Churchill Everhart was born in Norristown, PA on February 13, 1954. He was the son of William and Norma Everhart, both deceased. He was one of four children: Lynn Nations of Winter Haven; Billiy Everhart (Becky) of Winter Haven; and Bonnie Sawyer of San Diego, CA. Brian was a born musician and played many instruments, but chiefly drums and trumpet. He played trumpet with the PCC orchestra, the Florida Camerata, the Messiah Association, The Lake Wales Chorale, and many others. Brian was also a natural born salesman, and he sold everything from cars to computers. His last job was at the Lakeland Auto Mall. Brian has been an icon in the Central Florida live music scene for over thirty years. He performed with many bands over the years at every venue around. He played with a passion and with heart. Music was clearly in his genes. He was instrumental in organizing Play It Forward Polk to help ensure future young artists will have a chance. This was his way of giving back and sharing his talent. Brian loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping with his faithful companion, his dog, Dizzy. During the spring and summer, he could be found camping in the local state parks, especially Lake Kissimmee Park. Brian's creative talents went beyond his music as he spent many years in promotions designing many logos for several local businesses. Brian was always striving for the next opportunity, whether running a computer store or helping a new venue for live music get started. Brian made many friends and will be missed but through his efforts, Live Music in Central Florida is stronger and will continue on. Brian is survived by one daughter, Samantha Everhart, of Brooklyn, New York. Service: 04/08/2015 Heath Funeral Chapel 328 South Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801
