Boyd Anna Bowers Heck

Boyd Anna Bowers Heck, 103 Lakeland - Boyd Anna Bowers Heck died February 1, 2016. She was born February 16, 1912 in Herminie, PA, the fifth daughter of C. Hanway and Maggie Fay Boyd Bowers. Graduated from Wilkinsburg (PA) High School, Miss Conley""s Secretarial School and attended the University of Pittsburgh. After 43 years with H. J. Heinz Company, she retired in 1977 as Coordinator of Corporate Public Relations. Boyd and her husband John C. (Jack) Heck, Jr. moved to Naples, FL in 1978. They were members of First Presbyterian Church. Boyd worked part-time for 10 years at Naples Community Hospital. In 1993, they moved to Florida Presbyterian Homes in Lakeland. Jack died December 3, 1995. Boyd was preceded in death by all members of her Boyd/Bowers families. Boyd is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Naples and an Associate member of Presbyterian Church in the Highlands, Lakeland. A memorial service will be held on February 11, 2016 at 10 am in the Glenn Moore Chapel at Florida Presbyterian Homes.
