Bobby Gene Hicks

Bobby Gene Hicks passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was born on July 14, 1935, in Liberty, Alabama to the late John and Lou Hicks.

Bobby delivered flowers at a young age before becoming the owner of Bradley Flowers for 47 years.

He enjoyed working with his hands and was an avid carpenter, he built swings, benches, and a doll house for his grandchildren.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Belinda Haire and grandson, Daryl Bradley Hicks.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hicks of 71 years, 2 children, Daryl (Stephanie) Hicks, Shari (David) Sherman; sister, Connie Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 12 pm at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801 with services to follow at 1 pm.

Interment will take place at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 US Highway 98 South, Lakeland, FL 33812.
