July 30, 1947 — April 2, 2025

Billie Baggett Woods, known affectionately as Bunny, passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 77 after a battle with cancer, at Lakeland Regional Health.

Bunny was a beloved and caring homemaker who resided in Lakeland, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Justin Earl Baggett and Evelyn Thornberry, husband Floyd Woods, and son Daniel Woods (Jo Wu).

Bunny is survived by her children Pam Woods (Tom Bissell), Robert Wilson, and Michael Wilson (Tracy).

She also leaves behind her grandchildren Jessica Wu-Woods, Natalie Wu-Woods, Andrew Walmsley, Tyler Wilson, Jenna Wilson, Morgan Wilson, Zoe Livingston (Jode), and Brooks Wilson (Sarah).

Bunny's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Madison Walmsley, Davis Walmsley, Reagan Walmsley, Tinlee Wilson, Harrison Livingston and James Livingston.

Bunny was known for her humor and ability to connect with anyone. The impact "Miss Bunny" made on the staff at Lakeland Regional Health during her care was remarkable. She didn't know a stranger and loved helping people, taking care of many over the years. You knew she loved you if she called you "sugar".

The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Lakeland Regional Health and Hollis Cancer Center for their care over the past months.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 6pm at Heath Funeral Chapel.

Donations can be made to the Lakeland Regional Health Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
