Betty (Betsy) Ann Stubbs Bedgood

Betty (Betsy) Ann Stubbs Bedgood passed away peacefully on September 1, 2015, after a six-month battle with cancer. Betsy was born in Lakeland, Florida, on August 5, 1946, to Mary Elizabeth Stubbs (nee Nall) and Fred Gilmore (Gill) Stubbs of Plant City, Florida. She grew up in Plant City and graduated from Plant City High School, Class of 1964. She worked thirty-seven years as an insurance underwriter at Auto Owners Insurance in Lakeland. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and a brother, Robert (Bob) Stubbs. She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Robert (Bob) Bedgood of Lakeland, and one brother, William (Bill) Stubbs, of Plant City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice 3450 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33805, or Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine (LVIM) 1021 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33805, in her honor.
