Bernice W. Shaw, 92 Homemaker Lakeland " Bernice W. Shaw, 92, was born on July 28, 1921 in St. Petersburg, FL and passed away peacefully at her home on December 26, 2013 due to natural causes. Bernice is preceded in death by her husbands, Leon Cothron and Ervin Shaw, her brothers, Raymond Ward and Cecil Ward, and sister, Dorothy Knowles. She is survived by her sisters, Juanita ""Nita"" Hagen, Doris Summerall, and Mary Colson. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 12-1pm at Heath Funeral Chapel followed by a funeral service at 1pm. Interment will be at Oak Hill Burial Park following the services.
