Barbara Paul Berecz, 97 Lakeland - Barbara Paul Berecz died March 25, 2015 in Lakeland, FL, where she moved six months ago, after living in Fairfield almost 97 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 74 years, Stephen (Whitey) and is survived by daughters Barbara (Jim Hoffmann) and Bonnie (Jim Hicks), four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. While she was very involved with St. Emery""s Church and the Columbiettes and worked at a number of local companies from the time her children left home until her early 70s, her starring roles were wife, homemaker, Mom, Nan, Great Nan. She lived for her family, and until her final day her incredibly sharp mind reached out to every family member. Her love and generosity are her legacy. Burial is private.
