Archie Cornelius Parker, 86 Golden Years Retirement Home Lakeland: Archie Cornelius Parker, 86, of Ochlocknee, GA, formerly of Lakeland, FL, passed away at Grady General Hospital, Cairo, GA, on Tuesday February 4, 2014 from heart failure. Mr. Parker was born on July 16, 1927 in Tupelo, MS, to the late James Dock Parker and Mary Melinda Clause Parker. On October 11, 1952, he married Evelyn Louise Parker. Mrs. Parker preceded him in death on November 12, 2011. He was owner and operator of Golden Years Retirement Home in Lakeland. He was a member of New Testament Baptist Church. Archie C. Parker will reside in peace with his love, Evelyn L. Parker, and their Lord Jesus Christ and Savior. He is survived by; son, Archie (Jan) Parker of Ochlocknee, GA; daughter, Bonnie (Gary) Hendrick of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Seth (Courtney) Hendrick of Lakeland, FL, Steven Hendrick of Lakeland, FL, Melissa (Marc) LeSuer of Ochlocknee, GA, Jennifer (Jake) Cumbaa of Ochlocknee, GA, Archie D. (April) Parker of Ochlocknee, GA, April (Terrance) Collins of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Merik and Stellan Hendrick, Summer, Erica, and Marc LeSuer, Jacob and Joshua Cumbaa, Blake and Emma Collins, and Ethan, Avah, and Abram Parker; brothers, Cliff Parker and Vick Parker both of MS. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Precious Love Parker; three sisters and four brothers. Funeral services for Archie will be held on Saturday February 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Chapel with a viewing one hour prior for the family to receive friends. Rev.
