Antoinette ""Toni"" Stephenson, 85 School Volunteer Lakeland: Antoinette ""Toni"" Stephenson, 85, of Lakeland, died September 22, 2011 from heart failure. She was born on September 28, 1925 in Painesville, Ohio to John and Mary Bertone. Toni graduated from Harvey High School in Painesville, OH. She was the senior volunteer of the year for the Manatee County Schools. She is preceded in death by her husband William E. Stephenson who she married August 2, 1947 and preceded by her son David J. Stephenson. Toni is survived by her children: James H. Stephenson of Lakeland; Mark J. Stephenson of Tampa, FL; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; Siblings Rose Conley, Mary Keener, John Bertone, Joseph Bertone all of Painesville. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday September 27, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. with Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery at 2:30 P.M. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to St. Jude""s Hospital.
