Ann B. Brock

Ann B. Brock, 80 Registered Nurse Lakeland- Ann B. Brock, 80, of Lakeland, Florida, entered into eternal life, surrounded by her family on Friday, December 2, 2011 from complications following a stroke. Ann was born in Newark, New Jersey on March 19, 1931 and moved to Lakeland in 1988. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, nurse, and devout member of the Catholic Church. She was a woman who always carried herself with dignity and genuine compassion for those she loved. She dedicated her life to the care of those around her when she became a registered nurse in 1948. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Edward T. Brock and her son-in-law, Stan Lindstrom. She is survived by her 3 children, Kathy (Jack) Donahue of New Jersey, Robert (Seanna) Brock of Orlando, and Karen Lindstrom of Lakeland, along with her 7 grand-children John, Timothy, Krista, Kaitlin, Kelsey, Kaleigh and Erin. Funeral mass will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children""s Hospital in Ann Brock""s name.
