Alice “Allie” Scott Slemons, 58 Lakeland – Alice “Allie” Scott Slemons passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Health. She was born on October 18, 1959 to Carl E. and Marjorie E. Scott in Lakeland, FL. Alice loved animals and she enjoyed gardening, cross stitching, music, and taking pictures. Alice is predeceased by her parents and her sibling, Patty Winder. She is survived by her husband, Jim Slemons; her children, Cyndi Clayton, Jamie, Ashley, Shannon Slemons, Angel Clayton-Rana; her grandchild, Guy Lewis; her siblings, Judy Vennel, Ron Scott, Carla Graham. And by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Alice touched so many throughout her life. She always gave more than what she received. A memorial service will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Heath Funeral Chapel, in the Tribute Center, 328 S. Ingraham Ave., Lakeland, Florida 33801.
