Alfred "Al" Turner

Alfred ""Al"" Turner, 78 Railroad Eaton Park " Alfred Turner passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 after battling cancer. He was born in Metter, GA on September 5, 1932 to Tedmon and Vennie Mae Turner. Al retired from CSX Railroad as a yard master. He was an Army veteran. Alfred is preceded in death by his sisters, Vernel Holloway and Jewell Hughs, and brothers, Sam and Bob Turner. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Myrle (Bray) Turner, son, Greg Turner of Eaton Park, daughter, Karen Murphy of Winter Haven. He was a special Pa-pa to his grandchildren Brittany Turner, Alex and Logan Murphy, and his great-grandchild, Nathaniel Rogers. He is also survived by his sister, Donnie Jackson and brothers, Don and Harold Turner.
