Albert Ralph Rodda, 82 Lumberman Lakeland- Mr. Albert Ralph Rodda died on April 1, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to complications from Alzheimer""s. He was born August 7, 1930 in La Salle, Illinois. Mr. Rodda was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge and he served 4 years in the National Guard. He was a Scout leader and a Little League coach. He retired as an outside salesman for Joyner Lumber and Oxford Lumber. He is predeceased by his daughter, Kathy Holmes. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Polizzi Rodda, Lakeland, sons, John (Becky) Rodda, Lakeland, Jodie (Phyllis) Rodda, Lakeland, Cindy (George) Hayes, Lakeland, 7 grandchildren, Ed, Gina, Niki, Charlie, Jason, Joe, Leslie, and 14 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer""s Association of Polk County, 520 S. Florida Avenue, Lakeland, Fl. 33801. A Memorial Service will be held at The Rock Church, 270 East Highland Drive, Lakeland, Fl. 33813 on Thursday at 10:00 am.
