Harriett Cloud Brunson Ingram

Lakeland - Harriett Cloud Brunson Ingram died May 16, 2018, at her home after a brief illness. She was 91 y.o. She is survived by her two sons, Mark A. Ingram (60 y.o.) and Victor E. Ingram (64 y.o.), her cousin Nancy Newton Furland and her family, and many close friends. Harriett was born in Sumter, S.C. on June 11, 1926, the daughter of Lucius Brunson and Itly Taylor. She moved to Lakeland at 15 y.o. and lived with Earl and Billie Newton where she graduated from LHS in 1944. She attended Winthrop College and graduated with an associate's degree in 1946. Harriett married Victor Jorge Ingram in 1948 and moved to Milwaukee, WI. She moved back to Lakeland in 1962 where she spent the remainder of her life. She worked at LRMC and with Attorney Walter Manley before she finished her work career at FHP in Lakeland as an Office Administrator and retired after a lengthy career. She was a Christian, a loving mother and a caring friend to all who knew her. She loved children and animals and was always anxious to help others and was beloved by many. The funeral services are open to the public and will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel on May 26, 2018. The viewing will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, with services at 2:00 pm, and a graveside service at Oak Hill Cemetery.
