Constance Lloyed Erb

CONSTANCE LLOYD ERB, 79 Registered Nurse Lakeland, Ms. Constance ""Connie"" Erb passed away on November 13, 2014 at Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland, FL after an arduous and fierce fight over nearly half her lifetime with MS. Connie was born in Hazelton, PA, to Josephine and Grier Lloyd, Welsh immigrants, but claimed Chattanooga, TN as home. Ms. Erb attended the University of Tennessee and has cheered on the orange and white ever since. Connie moved to Rockledge, FL where she lived for 20 years and was involved in various civic organizations. After divorcing her husband in the 70""s, Connie returned to school and earned her RN degree. Connie was diagnosed with MS in her early 40""s and moved to Lakeland to be near family. She lived the last nearly 20 years of her life at Highlands Lake Center and changed many lives as a result. Ms. Erb is predeceased by her parents and son, Lawrence Lloyd Erb and sister Doris. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Skip) Vermillera and three granddaughters, Taylor (Chris) Nix, Devon Kelley and Sarah Vermillera, all of Polk County. A celebration of Connie""s life will be held at Highland Park Church of the Nazarene in Lakeland at 4777 Lakeland Highlands Road, Lakeland, FL on Monday, November 17th at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the national Multiple Sclerosis organization or to a local cat rescue, Cat Call, Inc., P.O.
