Arthur Davis

Arthur M. Davis, 104 Lakeland: Arthur M. Davis, 104, of Lakeland, died July 16, 2012 from natural causes. He was born on August 23, 1907 in Tunnelton, WV, moving to Titusville, FL in 1911, to Dade County, Fl in 1920 and ultimately moving to Lakeland in 1949. He was self employed in the shipping container business to the citrus and vegetable industry. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lakeland, Imperial Polk Lodge #345 which is currently Lodge #91, York Rite Bodies of Lakeland, Egypt Temple Shrine, and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 26 of Lakeland. He was a loving father and a generous man to his friends and his church. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillie and son Arthur Jr. He is survived by his Son Kenneth P. Davis (Dorothy), 1 brother James of San Antonio, TX. Graveside services will be held on Friday July 20, 2012 at 11:00A.M. at Oak Hill Burial Park.
